Nashville, TN – The Major League of Monster Trucks (MLMT) will debut its unique style of racing at Nashville Superspeedway on Oct. 27, with side-by-side monster truck racing at over 80 miles per hour within the confines of the facility’s infield.
The MLMT event features the biggest names in Monster Truck racing with a 12-truck field that will include the return of Bigfoot, Samson,T-Maxx, Raminator, Gunslinger and the Dawn Cretain driven Scarlet Bandit.
The 8,500- to 11,000-pound trucks equipped with engines producing up to 2,200 horsepower will qualify for positions in three preliminary rounds of head-to-head competition, and two trucks will reach the fourth and final round of the night.
“We’re bringing the ‘racing’ back to Monster Trucks at faster speeds with higher jumps on tracks containing bigger obstacles,” Major League of Monster Trucks President Joe Froome said. “Today’s form of monster truck racing at venues like Nashville Superspeedway brings an elevated level of competition that can’t be seen anywhere else.”
“The track is excited about this addition to our schedule as we continue working to bring more events to this venue,” Vice President & General Manager Cliff Hawks said.
The daredevils of Freestyle Motocross will also be trackside on a special course designed to demonstrate their mid-air stunts.
The event kicks off with a qualifying session at 4:00 p.m. with a special pit party from 5:00-6:00 p.m., where fans can meet the drivers and snap photos with the trucks. Racing begins at 7:00 p.m.
Advance tickets are $ 20 per adult and for children ages 3-12. All advance tickets sales include a FREE pit pass. At the gate on the day of the event, tickets are $ 25 for adults, $ 15 for children, and $ 5 for the pit pass.
